J is for Junkie, is a documentary shot by Corey Davis. It takes you into the thoughts of several homeless people who are addicted to crack in Atlanta, Georgia.

This changed my perception a bit on addiction and the reasons why people tend to be addicted to things.

It also made me a little sad, but I think that’s expected when watching things on addiction..

I miss sex-filled weekends.
the kind where you only leave bed to pee and bathe.
the kind where you smoke a blunt while getting head.
yeah, I need those type of weekends back.

Five years ago, I would have given up writing for a year just to sleep with a girl like that once. But she offered nothing. She was all holes: ears to listen to me, a mouth to talk at me, and a vagina to squeeze orgasms out of me. We weren’t a team; we were just a distraction for each other, a way to feel less lonely for a few hours in a big, uncaring world.

Holi

A slow motion short shot during the Festival of Colors. Fullscreen it, it’s completely amazing.

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.
